Vintage
Sports Car Club of America, Inc.
VSCCA & JAGUAR CLUB
Friday, May 30, & Saturday, May 31, 2003
This event is a low-key event. We want this event to be fun for the whole family.
We strongly encourage our members to bring out their over 2-liter cars and group III cars.
Because we are limited to the number of cars at this event the groups will be based on the car
and drivers potential and experience. This will make for safe close racing.
Please send in your entries as soon as possible as this event always fills up quickly and in the past,
due to over subscription, potential entries have been turned down.
Deadline for entries is Saturday May 17th.
This year we have again upgraded our Friday evening Champagne Cocktail Party and Dinner.
If this will be your first time at this event ask anyone who has been to this event before to find out how
good it is. We have a five piece jazz band (Jive By Five Jazz Band), which you will be able to dance
to, and a larger tent than before with more seating and dancing room. There is a special rate for
children's meals. Children under ten are half price, and children under five eat free.
Cocktails and dinner will be served after the last race on Friday at the tent overlooking the main straight.
Additionally we will try even harder this year to maximize track time.
We have use of the racetrack both Friday and Saturday till 6:00 p.m.
so you will have plenty of track time. We also have free use of the camping area Thursday night and
Friday night along with the bath and shower facilities for those who wish to camp out on the grounds.
The snack bar will be available for breakfast.
This event has always been run as a family event. We try to encourage the whole family to participate.
The Jaguar Club will accept entries from VSCCA members who wish to also bring non-VSCCA eligible cars or
wish that their spouses and older children go through the driver's school and practice driving on the track.
This helps the whole family get involved in the weekend's activities.
For entry forms or information about entering a non-VSCCA car or driver with the
Jaguar Club please call Charles Bordin during business hours at 914-968-5700.
As an added attraction, Jaguar Cars of North America will debut the all-new Aluminum XJ-8
at Lime Rock during the weekend. You will be able to test drive the new car on a course set
up in the upper paddock area.

Event Notes:
This is a Muffled Event. If you are too loud you will be black-flagged by the track officials, not by VSCCA.
Hotel rooms fill up fast at this time of the year so please make your reservation early. Camping is available
at the track.
At the end of the day we want to give all the volunteer corner workers rides.
They look after our safety all day long and look forward to getting rides in our cars at the end of the day.
Do not disappoint them.
All usual VSCCA regulations are in effect at this event.
If you want to bring a non-VSCCA car or driver to this event the Jaguar Club will happy to accommodate them.
